From Garden Route
- Take the N2 (North)
- The N2 changes into the N10, 12km after Colchester, follow on the N10 towards Paterson
- When you reach Paterson, turn left on the R342 towards the Addo Elephant National Park
- Proceed for 24,5km, past the main entrance of the Addo National Park
- Turn right on the R335 (Zuurberg road) for 2km
- Turn right into the RiverBend gates
- Proceed slowly, while enjoying the view and look out for animals, as you are now inside the Addo Elephant National Park, and in Big 5 area, speed limit is 30km
- For RiverBend and Pepper Grove House turn right after 2,3km to the Lodge Reception gates, on the right
- For Long Hope Villa drive on past the gates on the right and follow the road as it turns left 400m further on. Long Hope Villa will be seen on your left
- Located inside The Addo Elephant National Park, makes The RiverBend Collection The Destination from which to experience an authentic African Safari within the Malaria free Eastern Cape, South Africa.
From Port Elizabeth
- Take the N2 towards Grahamstown
- Continue on the N2 past Colchester (approximately 44km / 27 minutes)
- Continue on the N2 to Nanaga (approximately 14,6km / 14 minutes)
- *At Nanaga take the N10, towards Cradock and Paterson (approximately 21,8km / 13 minutes. (Nanaga has a super farm stall to browse through or to get a snack at)
- At Paterson turn left onto the R324 towards Addo (approximately 25,7km / 17 minutes)
- Turn right onto the gravel road signposted, Zuurberg Pass road (approximately 3,5km)
- White RiverBend Lodge gates on your right
- Press the Reception Intercom button, and our staff will let you in.
From Grahamstown
- Take the N2 from Grahamstown towards Nanaga (approximately 74,5km / 48 minutes). (Nanaga has a super farm stall to browse through or to get a snack at)

From Port Alfred
- From Port Alfred take the R72 past Kenton On Sea to Nanaga (approximately 93,7km / 1hr 8 minutes). (Nanaga has a super farm stall to browse through or to get a snack at)

Helicopter charters or Private small fixed wing plane charters, to the nearby Addo private airstrip may also be arranged from Port Elizabeth Airport for those not wishing to undertake the short journey by car.
